Trashy, epicurean, decadent fun was the nidus of Turbonegro, a stripe that was formed in Oslo, Norway, in the '90s just had more than in common with '70s and '80s pop-metal, hard rock, and glam metal than with the alternative rock played by their Scandinavian peers. Blending traces of punk with such influences as Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot, Mötley Crüe, and Judas Priest, Turbonegro's late-'90s recordings were over the big top and lofty of it. Although all of its members ar Norwegian, all of the band's lyrics ar in English. Lead singer Hank Von Helvete, sings quite convincingly in English, and solely the slightest traces of a Scandinavian emphasis come through. Other Turbonegro members of the tardy '90s included leash guitarist Euroboy, bassist Happy Tom, rhythm guitar player Rune Rebellion, keyboardist/percussionist Pål Pot Pamparius, and drummer Chris Summers.
In 1997, Turbonegro recorded Apocalypse Dudes, which was released in the U.S. by Man's Ruin in early 1999. However, the group had unkept up at the end of 1998; Shadow Forever!, a selection of live performances from the band's final class, was released in early 2001. The detachment, however, was transient, and Turbonegro were back for tour of duty dates in 2002, followed by the handout of Nordic Leather in 2003. A handful of northern European dates coincided the acquittance of the band's seventh album, Party Animals, in 2005. A collection of remixes appeared in 2006 as Little Feces, Vol. 1, with the full-length Retox arriving in 2007.

Jolie: 'Twins Will Be A Challenge'
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fear the addition of twins to their growing family will be such a challenge they've asked the actor's parents to standby as potential caregivers. Jolie admits she was stunned when she discovered she was expecting two babies at once, expanding her brood of adopted and natural kids from four to six overnight. She tells the new issue of America's Entertainment Weekly, "We weren't expecting twins... but we like a challenge. "(Brad's) mom and dad are on standby to come out (to France) and help." And she's determined to make sure her other kids are included in the twins' life from day one: "They're old enough to feel included, to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves. "We're trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing... Everybody gets special time." Jolie is expected to give birth to the twins at an exclusive Provence wine estate she and Pitt have hired for the summer .
