Trashy, epicurean, decadent fun was the nidus of Turbonegro, a stripe that was formed in Oslo, Norway, in the '90s just had more than in common with '70s and '80s pop-metal, hard rock, and glam metal than with the alternative rock played by their Scandinavian peers. Blending traces of punk with such influences as Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot, Mötley Crüe, and Judas Priest, Turbonegro's late-'90s recordings were over the big top and lofty of it. Although all of its members ar Norwegian, all of the band's lyrics ar in English. Lead singer Hank Von Helvete, sings quite convincingly in English, and solely the slightest traces of a Scandinavian emphasis come through. Other Turbonegro members of the tardy '90s included leash guitarist Euroboy, bassist Happy Tom, rhythm guitar player Rune Rebellion, keyboardist/percussionist Pål Pot Pamparius, and drummer Chris Summers.

In 1997, Turbonegro recorded Apocalypse Dudes, which was released in the U.S. by Man's Ruin in early 1999. However, the group had unkept up at the end of 1998; Shadow Forever!, a selection of live performances from the band's final class, was released in early 2001. The detachment, however, was transient, and Turbonegro were back for tour of duty dates in 2002, followed by the handout of Nordic Leather in 2003. A handful of northern European dates coincided the acquittance of the band's seventh album, Party Animals, in 2005. A collection of remixes appeared in 2006 as Little Feces, Vol. 1, with the full-length Retox arriving in 2007.

Jolie: 'Twins Will Be A Challenge'

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fear the addition of twins to their growing family will be such a challenge they've asked the actor's parents to standby as potential caregivers. Jolie admits she was stunned when she discovered she was expecting two babies at once, expanding her brood of adopted and natural kids from four to six overnight. She tells the new issue of America's Entertainment Weekly, "We weren't expecting twins... but we like a challenge. "(Brad's) mom and dad are on standby to come out (to France) and help." And she's determined to make sure her other kids are included in the twins' life from day one: "They're old enough to feel included, to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves. "We're trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing... Everybody gets special time." Jolie is expected to give birth to the twins at an exclusive Provence wine estate she and Pitt have hired for the summer .

When Orlando native AK 1200 started his career in electronic music in the late '80s, nigh no one in the rural area had of all time heard of it. Nevertheless, the artist managed to carve stunned an extremely successful career in the land of resistance electronic music spell at the same time introducing myriad mass to the up-and-coming genre. At this point, he boasts one of the most illustrious careers of anyone in the business. He is not only a DJ, only besides a producer, promoter, remixer, cartridge clip publisher, and record store owner, not to mention a pioneer of breakbeat, jungle, and drum'n'bass.

The artist, whose real name is Dave Minner, first started playing generic early techno music in Orlando clubs in 1989. He has constantly had passably progressive, jumpy, and specific musical tastes, however, and social club techno was not a very good couple for him. The emergent U.K. breakbeat level-headed, on the other hand, suited him identical substantially. AK promptly launch his niche in hard-core breaks and left the mainstream techno scene behind forever. He was implemental in helping keep breakbeat alive in the U.S. subway system scene after it had disoriented popularity in the U.K. As the early '90s byword the birth of hobo camp and, later on, drum'n'bass in the U.S. subway system, AK constitute his station as a tireless initiate of the new effectual. He toured extensively, scored a abidance at San Francisco's legendary ball club Spundae, and published the magazine publisher Junglized with musical co-worker DJ Jeffee. His shape was clean predictable: He would champ a novel subgenre but until everyone else had heard around it and jumped onto the bandwagon. When that happened, he'd slue off into some other young niche of electronica that no i had even heard of. Finally, in the mid-'90s, he decided to centering on producing and remixing, jumping into a fertile career that included collaborations with the likes of Keoki and Rabbit in the Moon. In 1999, he came full-circle, headlining the national Planet of the Drums hitch. For this hitch, he was the organiser and give, as well as the star.

AK's discography and resumé read like a wash list of who's world Health Organization in tube electronica. He has remixed tracks for A Tribe Called Quest and the Crystal Method and collaborated with Dieselboy and Danny Breaks. His lengthy discography includes releases on Moving Shadow and Moonshine. Full-length releases include Prepare for Assault and Lock & Roll: A Drum & Bass DJ Mix. He also followed in Carl Cox's footsteps, releasing the second Sundry Live record album on Moonshine Records in 2000.
